History

With 40 years of experience in the scientific field, founder of HIR & Associates, Howard Richardson began his career with American Hospital Supply Corporation which later became Baxter. He worked in the scientific products division as a sales rep. In this position he became one of the top industrial sales professionals in the country for this division. Following this, he became VP of Sales for Regis Technologies.

Among his responsibilities at Regis was to establish an independent distribution network throughout the US and Canada. In 1990, Richardson became partner and president of Sav-A-Life Systems which produced medical emergency kits designed specifically for dentists. Deciding to apply his significant expertise to a broader clientele, Richardson opened HIR & Associates to serve both as a distributor and representative in the life science field, sourcing unique high quality – often difficult to find – products to the scientific community.
